Summer of Discussion

I have had a wonderful summer I must say, much has been spent with late night discussions on religion, politics, music, movies, books etc. I have to post on this, which I have discussed with my friends a few times and just really made me think and realize about the world in which we live. On a day where music was the topic I began to think what has been the best depiction of the world or at least the world I know. After a many a day/night watching TV, I sorta came to the realization that TOOL has penned (sp) the best description of the world we live in. It hit me like a ton of bricks, America is a very strange place where we think we are the center of the world yet we should not extend beyond our own means. Regardless on your stance of political lines, you moral stance or your ethical, our world is what it is. Anyway, to me this song nails everything we have become, the murder of the week, the disaster (sp) we cannot stop watching, the war on our TV..
